Arriving in Spain with only one (long)board for two, Full&Cas was at first a kind of necessity. Checking out all surf shops in Santander, it appears that Full&Cas was the real deal. We met Franz (red T-shirt) at night in the official outlet of the company. Full of good advices, Franz is not the kind of guy who makes you believe you could be Pro provided you buy the right board. Listening to you openly, trying to understand your level and your taste, he finally pinpoints your needs and drives you to your new 6 feet high babe. The day after, we had the chance to visit the surf factory. It is cool to see how dedicated people can build good (and price competitive) boards. Limited budget and limited time, we finally took a second hand board, good enough for what we had planned. In the cold blue of the shape room, humans' accuracy achieves what a machine cannot. Shaper's hands surf on the foam, indirectly transmitting his passion and experience to you. To conclude, I would like to say Aloha to this great team (Mattias, Franz and the others), hoping this article will reflect their positive attitude and skills. - Jerome Bouteiller |
